I'm further in the game at level 3, about 2.5 hours of play, and I've eorxlped two full map screens so far and hit two dungeons. I'm presently in a crypt.I made a magick user, because I always like blasting things, and you do that very well in this game. :)So far, I'm really liking this. The first dungeon, even, has traps and puzzles to solve. Also, there's some tough encounters that a little thinking can win for you over brawn or spells. (Hint: closure can bring victory.)
